Australia’s energy system is entering a decisive new phase. Recent developments across the grid show that a more distributed, consumer‑led energy system is no longer a future concept — it is actively taking shape.

This moment calls for stronger collaboration between current and emerging leaders, and new ways of turning insight into coordinated action. While talent, momentum, and practical tools already exist across the sector, building shared understanding and alignment is now critical.

The RACE for 2030 Consumer Grid Summit responds to this need. Through a series of Grid Transformation Masterclasses and a two‑day intensive Summit, participants will work together to explore the future grid Australia needs, test ideas, and develop practical options that complement existing policy, regulatory, and industry processes — helping shape a cleaner, more affordable, and more equitable energy future.
